We’re proud to welcome a new client in the Middle East: Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). Located in Abu Dhabi, MBZUAI is a graduate research university dedicated to advancing AI as a global force for humanity.

Established by the visionary leadership of the United Arab Emirates, MBZUAI plays a vital role in the country’s strategic goals by educating top talent, fostering innovation, and serving as a think tank for both the public and private sectors.

As part of its mission, MBZUAI has launched an institutional repository developed and supported by Atmire’s Open Repository solution. This repository serves as the central platform for collecting, preserving, and sharing the university’s research output, ranging from journal articles and conference proceedings to theses, books, and more, authored by MBZUAI’s faculty, researchers, staff, and students.

The project also includes DOI minting and integrates Atmire’s bespoke statistics and metadata features, providing advanced tools for tracking research impact and enhancing discoverability.

We are proud to support MBZUAI in making its groundbreaking research openly accessible and globally visible.
