Institutional Repositories have revolutionized online availability of digital (research) content for the world's leading institutions. Through their dynamic nature, repositories are a more effective way of managing digital resources than local databases or archives, since they are interoperable and very easy to use.

Many institutions adopt Open Access principles, based on the idea that immediate online availibility of research increases its impact. By actively using repositories, today's academics radically reshape the landscape of (scientific) publishing.

As a spinoff company from K.U. Leuven, @mire assists institutions worldwide in implementing and managing innovative repositories.
