Project Introduction

UBC Libraries contracted @mire in 2009 to provide an upgrade to DSpace version 1.5.1, including changes to the Administrative and Submission workflows to support embargo functionality. As well, the addition of @mire products created new workflow processes for Statistics, Reporting, Metadata Management and Audio-visual streaming. In 2010, @mire provided a 2 day onsite training course on this new functionality for UBC Librarians. In 2011, @mire and UBC Libraries completed integration of DSpace with their Shibboleth based system wide centralized authentication services. Today, @mire continues to assist UBC Libraries in supporting and enhancing cIRcle in projects to scale up the repository infrastructure.
