In order to resolve issues with duplicates and perform batch edit operations, the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia acquired @mire's Metadata Quality Module, for its RiuNet repository. Because the institution is using DSpace 1.5.1 Manakin as their repository platform, installation of the Metadata Quality Module was non-intrusive and did not require modifications to the DSpace source code. Other institutions using the Metadata Quality Module are the K.U. Leuven (Belgium) and the Abilene Library Consortium (TX, USA).
