The Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (INIST) is a unit of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) under the administrative authority of the French Ministry in charge of scientific research. Its mission is to facilitate access to findings of all fields of worldwide scientific research.

INIST-CNRS relies on one of the most important collections of scientific documents in Europe to provide a whole range of information services: Document delivery services, Online holdings catalogs, Online bibliographic databases, Information portals providing access to electronic resources and dedicated to specific scientific communities.

@mire performed the technical upgrade of the iRevues repository to DSpace version 1.5.2 Manakin. Previously created web designs, corresponding to different journals and their editions, were ported to Manakin while preserving their unique look and feel.

@mire implemented an IP Authorization feature, so that readers could read controlled access journals, without having to login, when their IP address is recognized. When the IP is not recognized/used, readers should be able to connect using login/password.

@mire instructed their 3 day DSpace Developer Training Program to 9 participants and provided a first hands-on experience with DSpace development for the DSpace XMLUI.
