The repository project at Hogeschool Universiteit Brussel had audacious goals. First of all, the repository was intended as an institutional repository, providing access to publications and other public scientific output of the institute. At the same time, the system had to fulfill the function of internal research information system, storing more private research related information, intended for reporting and evaluation.
With customizations such as embargo’s on files and confidential metadata fields, @mire succeeded in the realization of this dual approach ... well under 2 months of development.
Aside from @mire's Infocon and Reporting Suite
@mire presented it's approach and experiences related to this project at Open Repositories 2008. Click here for the slides of this presentation.
